Phone Consultation
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve been in therapy before, I would love to talk with you. This is a free 10-15 minute phone consultation in which you can ask questions and discuss more about what to expect moving forward.
1
Intake Assessment
The first session is an intake assessment where I will ask a number of background questions and what brings you to therapy. You may want to dive right in and get to work on your goals in the first session, but trust that ALL the questions are relevant - even if you can’t immediately see it. This session is also a great opportunity for you to get a feel for my therapy style and personality as well as explore therapy goals.

Good Faith Estimate
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, the “No Surprises Act,” health care providers are required to give clients who do not have insurance or who choose not to use their insurance an estimate of the bill for health care items and services.
- You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
- Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance (self-pay) an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy.
- You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure you have a copy or a picture of your good faith estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises, email FederalPPDRQuestions@cms.hhs.gov or call 1-800-985-3059.
***** Note: A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract nor does it require immediate financial commitment or payment.
